ZAÏA is, in fact, located inside Aethos Milan, a boutique hotel with 32 suites which includes the private club Aethos Club, a gym, and the Doping Bar, a lounge bar inspired by Anglo-Saxon gentlemen’s clubs.

It is no coincidence that the founder and CEO of Aethos is Benjamin Habbel who knows a lot about luxury lifestyle, considering his experience in Silicon Valley and the subsequent creation of various successful start-ups in the field of high-level hospitality.
Inspired by the flavors of the streets of Tel Aviv, passing through Puglia and Beirut, ZAÏA explores the origins of Mediterranean cuisine and adds a modern twist. A restaurant with an international soul, where you can savor refined dishes in the name of fun and social sharing.
ZAÏA’s chefs are Luigi Gagliardi and Dario Guffanti, with experience in important kitchens both abroad and in the Lombard capital, from Carlo and Camilla in Segheria al Maio, passing through Gualtiero Marchesi’s Il Marchesino, who entertain guests from the beautiful open kitchen decorated with emerald green zellige tiles.
The menu is designed to be shared and focuses on the very high quality of the raw materials and the originality of the combinations, even in the dessert menu. From the scallops with burre blanc and sturgeon caviar to the agnolotti del plin filled with braised meats with thyme foam and red wine, up to the wonderful desserts such as the chocolate, almond and champagne mousse.
The refined interior design of ZAÏA was studied by the Spanish company Astet Studios who wanted to create a space where you can feel “at home”.
The warm colors of wood, bottle green and powder pink dominate in the details of the furnishings, surrounded by warm sound-absorbing velvet curtains that separate the restaurant room from the area reserved for Aethos Club members.
Open for dinner (while lunch is reserved for Club members and Hotel guests), for a drink, or perhaps after dinner, we recommend you also try the adjacent Doping Bar, a sophisticated cocktail bar with a London club atmosphere, unique in Milan for the refinement of the vintage furnishings, to enjoy a good selection of cocktails thanks to the experience of expert mixologists.
The Secret
The private club offers cultural and culinary events, access to reserved areas of the Zaïa restaurant and the Doping Bar, admittance to the gym and various courses, as well as many exclusive services dedicated to members, depending on the membership chosen.
