Hidden in the quiet of a “secret” courtyard, the VMaison brand brings to Milan, after the success of the Messina hotel, the city of which the family originates, a new concept of living that offers guests all the comfort and privacy of a Grand Hotel combined with the hype of an international bistro and an eclectic style created by the homonymous interior studio VMaison.

The brand was born from an idea of the brothers Veronica and Toni Zimbaro, respectively artistic director and general manager, who love to mix unique objects and designs of the artisan tradition of various countries – from Colombia to Uzbekistan passing obviously through Sicily – in a language of interiors characterized by the use of rare and precious materials that create new combinations of colors and textures.

Crossing the threshold of the entrance gate, you enter a colorful garden furnished with tables, chairs and armchairs by Ames Vibrant Living in fique, iraca or werregue fibers, inspired by traditional Colombian manufacturing techniques, and then, once inside the maison, the eye is captivated by details, from the iron-glass windows to the hall with a marble fireplace and the magnificent wrought iron staircase, typical of European noble residences of the early 19th century.

The hotel, the only one of its kind in Milan, offers, in addition to the magical garden, a bistro with an outdoor area open all day, a living area, 16 suites, each one different from the other with the possibility of booking communicating rooms with a terrace or private garden, sauna and turkish bath.

Everything is designed to offer maximum comfort: soft lighting, white Carrara marble bathrooms, mattresses that guarantee optimal sleep performance, Ortigia courtesy line, bicycles always available, 24-hour concierge service.

Walking through the corridors you are enveloped by the wonderful papier peint (wallpapers) made by Veronica taking inspiration from Uzbek ikat fabrics or from representations of animals and forests that she creates personally giving unique suggestions. Nothing is left to chance and the highly sought-after furnishings are ideas that come from every corner of the world: from romantic Paris to punk London, from the fabrics of the Moroccan souks to the colors and material paints of Tunisian dar. A journey into the journey that can be breathed everywhere at VMaison Milano, where everything is for sale and the interior is thus constantly evolving.

The bistro, also open to non-guests, offers, in the morning, a specific menu for breakfast and, from 11.30 to 23.30, the possibility of brunch, lunch or dinner based on “international” dishes such as salads, tartare, poke, cheese and pepper with prawn tartare, eggplant parmigiana and second courses such as grilled and sliced fish; perfect for an aperitif with friends or an informal dinner.

The Secret

Adjacent to the hotel is the VMaison showroom, the real kingdom of Veronica where, together with her team, she gives life to all the ideas that make homes, hotels, and locations that she creates truly unique spaces.
