Darsena 21 was born in 2016 from the dream of Daniele and his wife Isabella with the idea of ​​being a meeting point to discover Lake Iseo, the nearby Franciacorta vineyards, and the mountain paths that act as a backdrop to the fabulous lake landscape.

After years of closure, following the success of the land art installation The Floating Piers by artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude which attracted over 1.5 million visitors, the property had begun the restoration of the location and Daniele, with a passion for mixology, and Isabella, for cooking, decided to take it over, combining the name “darsena” with their lucky number, “21”, the day of their wedding date.

The still waters of a lake reflect the beauty that surrounds it; when the mind is serene, the beauty of the self is reflected in it.

Overlooking the water, the venue extends onto a jetty with lots of lights and tables and continues inside in a characteristic yellow house with red balconies and a terrace with white curtains and exotic touches.

The setting is constantly evolving with recycled furniture and design objects collected by Isabella and Daniele.

Lake Iseo is located between Lake Garda to the east and Lake Como to the west on the borders of the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo and is of glacial origin.

In the center of the lake is the suggestive Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe and its two satellite islands: San Paolo to the south and Loreto to the north, a perfect destination for a trip before stopping at Darsena 21.

Darsena 21 offers a selection of contemporary quality dishes, which partly take inspiration from the Lake and the surrounding areas, the result of a search for trusted suppliers, choice of singular raw materials, and high quality products.

Various main dishes on the menu, such as Il Lago, salmon trout marinated in dill, fillet of char, oil and lemon, finger polenta and dried sardine fillet, pike salad, and many tapas such as Pès & Chips, battered cod bites with fried potatoes, and Focaccia with culatta, stracciatella, confit cherry tomatoes.

Darsena 21 offers many cocktails, refined and original, as well as a great selection of wines, in particular from the nearby Franciacorta.

There are many events organized by the venue, such as aperitifs with DJ sets at sunset, to stay updated just follow their social media.

Darsena 21 is a magical place, one of the most suggestive spots on Lake Iseo.

The Secret

Monte Isola is famous for its sardines dried for a month in the sun and air, on special arches positioned in shaded places, which can be tasted with polenta also at Darsena 21.
