In the city centre, Sara Giovanna Carletti has created a space divided into original rooms inspired by Varese Città Giardino and its evocative Liberty atmospheres, designed to host private dinners, events and workshops, from table etiquette to olfactory tastings.
Casaeventi is a unique place in Varese and Lombardy, born from the dream of Sara Giovanna Carletti, the famous party planner known to all as Saragiò, to create her personal “wonderland” and make it available to guests to share convivial moments and unique experiences, all created strictly tailor-made.
After much research, she found her ideal space on the first floor of Palazzo Sommaruga, a building with deco charm built in the 1930s near the central Piazza Monte Grappa, where she fell in love with the enormous industrial-style iron-glass windows that reminded her of those of the greenhouses of the late 19th century.
After years of experience around the world and hundreds of events, I wanted to create a “home” that could host sensory experiences designed for all lovers of beauty, design, fashion, decoration and the art of receiving.

The ideal scenario in which to set up “her” garden city inspired by Varese from the golden age of the Hotel Excelsior in Casbeno and the birth of the many Art Nouveau villas surrounded by immense parks. After a careful conservative restoration, the spaces were divided into 4 rooms, communicating with each other and all with a comfortable independent entrance, all differently decorated, artfully combining design objects and splendid unique pieces from the beginning of the century, although united by a common thread.
From Jardin d’Antan, the first one you encounter when you climb the vintage iron staircase of the building, characterized by large windows that seem to float suspended over the main streets of the city and by a gigantic crystal chandelier; to Roof Garden and the Orangery overlooking Via Volta with suggestive trompe-l’œils, up to the Flowers Room, with floral decorations and antique display cases containing collections of vases, plates and crystal glasses.
Romantic private dinners by candlelight, parties and cooking classes come to life here, which can accommodate up to 100 people standing and 30 sitting and making use of the numerous services offered by the location, from the comfortable kitchen to the cloakroom.
A life dedicated to events, fairytale weddings and the creation of tailor-made arrangements, the passion for everything that is handmade has led Saragiò to also be known for her beautiful line of bijoux, Alloveyou, amous for single earrings and the pendants created by hand.
In fact, Casaeventi also hosts the laboratory where Alloveyou jewels are created, all unique pieces, which, upon request, can be ordered custom-made (like the one designed for Secrets!).
In addition to planning dream events, Saragiò also creates masterclasses and workshops dedicated to “sensory experiences” within Casaeventi, such as cooking lessons, olfactory tasting, decoration and styling for which he uses, as well as his 20 years of experience, also of a roster of teachers specialized in different fields.
Among the most loved, there are, for example, Sgalateo‘s original courses where she teaches the art and etiquette of dining and hospitality by mixing colors, vintage pieces with the contemporary ones, shapes and perfumes.

The Secret
The Alloveyou line, a union word of “Al”, as the symbol of aluminium, and “love you”, as the intention to empathically reach the universe of emotions, is handmade in aluminum (so that even the larger earrings are very light), silver, bronze, and natural stones.
